Chennai is Chennai no matter what you do and where you stay. Initially, I was working in Sholinganallur, OMR and Mahindra World Village and I used to spend 12-15 hrs minimum a day outside my house with more than 100 km travel a day. Luckily, I shifted to another company within city and though I am a lot more relaxed since the distance has considerably reduced (only 28 kms up and down), I must confess that the journey to and fro is simply taking the hell out of me :-( Now no matter what I can crib.. This is another point to be noted. So I decided to enjoy my journey in a different way.. Take the car..Go at the slowest speeed possible (ofcourse which doesnt irritate others) Switch off at all long signals... hear a very melodious track thorughout the journey....Now that I atleast enjoy being inside AC for a loooong time. Just have to be contented with it.
Its time we start enjoying these chaos as well since there is no other choice being in a place like Chennai, and also after many years hopefully we should let this stories alone pass on to next gen expecting a more developed city in future.
