Normally, I am not interested in discussing politics, but since this is environmental issue, I thought I will raise my view as well ;-)
This is the biggest joke of the year 2009. Perfect definition for International politics where powerful nation places it orders over others. US is the most polluted country but there seems to be no binding rule nor any reduction in pollution levels.
Jairam Ramesh, hon'ble minister of state for Environment and Forests broke down before he proceded for the summit....
And understandably, there was no binding of targets for India as well ;-)
Ideally, these issues should have been addressed 10-12 years before where atleast we could think of a remedy. Water has already raised above our head and people are still playing with the nature just for the sake of money........
Only GOD can save Mother Earth!!!
